This is a public notice that Bagley Public Schools Maintanance Department plans to apply a non-restricted herbicide to the BHS Football field. Application will take place in the morning on Thursday, June 26th or Friday, June 27th depending on the weather. The goal is to help control broadleaf weeds from taking over the field. Signs will be posted on the morning of application.
James Palmer fired a 78 on the opening day of the State Class A golf tournament at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker MN. He scored a 41 on his front nine and a 37 on the back nine to finish tied for 20th after day 1. James is 1 stroke back from being tied for 10th and is 6 stokes back from the leader. James tees off at 12:32 tomorrow.
What a great day at the State Track Meet! Ava took 2nd place in Long Jump and 1st in prelims in the 100m and 200m run. Our 4x100 relay team (Ava Phrakonkham, Chaela Olson, Claire Klinkhammer, and Hatty Quam )took 2nd place in prelims. Finals for those events are scheduled for tomorrow. Charlie Capshaw will compete in the discus tomorrow. Good Luck to all....Go Flyers!

James Palmer, freshman at Bagley High School, qualified for a trip to the 8A State Golf Tournament. Palmer placed 3rd at sub-sections held at Headwaters Golf Course in Park Rapids after shooting an 81. Then at the 8A Sections Golf Tournament at Bemidji Town & Country Club, Palmer fired an 81-80 for a two day total of 161, which placed him in a tie for 5th place and a ticket to the Class A State Golf Tournament that will be held at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker, Minnesota June 10th & 11th. School is out but our Flyer Athletes are still doing amazing things!!! The Section 8A track meet had record breaking results! Ava Phrakonkham broke the 100-meter record and the 200-meter record. The Bagley-Fosston Girls 4x100 team also had a record breaking finish. Advancing to state: Charlie Capshaw 1st Place Discus, Ava Phrakonkham 1st in the 100M, 200M and Long Jump, Ava Phrakonkham, Chaela Olson, Claire Klinkhammer, and Hatty Quam 1st Place 4x100 Relay. The State Tournament will be held on June 10 and 11 at St. Michael-Albertville. We are so proud of our athletes and wish them the best of luck at State!

Pie A Teacher Elementary Event
We're thrilled to report that the Pie in the Face event was a resounding success, bringing immense joy to the kids! Our efforts paid off, raising an impressive $940. A huge thank you to the six courageous teachers who volunteered to take a pie in the face. Their dedication to our students is truly inspiring.
The PTO also organized a drawing for Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week, awarding customized Yeti Flyer cups and Galen's gift cards to recognize the outstanding contributions of our BES staff.

The Bagley PTO pie in the face fundraiser was a huge success. They raised over $938.00. In addition, they celebrated staff appreciation week with treats and prize drawings.
