New Trends to Watch for on Social Media: Dear parents and caregivers, Recent Social Media trends have promoted students to take part in monthly challenges within the school system. The social media platform TikTok is circulating a calendar which lists challenges for students to complete while being videotaped. The current challenge encourages students to slap a teacher or staff member. Other challenges promote vandalism and theft of school property. Obviously, this is troubling. The Bagley School District believes in the importance of a safe and secure school environment. Students who participate in these social media challenges will face disciplinary action from the school and potentially involvement from law enforcement. Please converse with your children about the seriousness of this kind of action within the school community. Let's all do our part to make Bagley schools a warm and welcoming environment.
